Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Green food coloring
- 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions:
Put the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy
Each egg should be added one at a time
After that, the vanilla extract and a few drops of green food coloring should be added
Mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined
The white chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles should be carefully mixed in
Put the dough in the fridge for at least an hour with plastic wrap over it
Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet
Round out tablespoon-sized pieces of the chilled dough and place them on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving space between each cookie
Make each ball of dough a little flatter with the back of a spoon
For 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden, bake the cookies
Take them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet
Then, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down
If you want, you can add more rainbow sprinkles and green icing to the cookies after they have cooled
Have these fun St
Patrick's Day cookies with family and friends!
